This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Plantbio provides refunds for educational products, programs, and consulting services purchased through our website.

At Plantbio, we strive to ensure satisfaction with our educational products, programs, and consulting services. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is appropriate. This policy describes the conditions, timeframes, and procedures for requesting and receiving refunds.

All purchases made through plantbio.world are subject to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms of Use. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this policy.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We do not provide refunds to alternative payment methods or accounts unless required by law.

2. Educational Products

Educational products include digital workbooks, audio guides, reference materials, and downloadable content purchased through our website.

2.1 Digital Downloads

  • 14-Day Satisfaction Period: If you are not satisfied with a digital educational product, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not downloaded or accessed more than 20% of the product content.
  • Technical Issues: If you experience technical problems preventing access to purchased content, contact us within 7 days of purchase. We will attempt to resolve the issue. If resolution is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
  • Duplicate Purchases: Accidental duplicate purchases will be refunded in full upon verification, regardless of the 14-day period.

2.2 Physical Materials

If we offer physical educational materials, the following conditions apply:

  • Items must be returned in original, unused condition within 30 days of delivery
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or incorrectly shipped
  • Refunds for physical items are processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned product

3. Programs and Challenges

Structured programs include our four-week awareness challenges, eight-week resilience builders, and similar multi-week educational courses.

3.1 Before Program Start

If you cancel your enrollment before the program start date, you are eligible for a full refund minus any non-refundable processing fees disclosed at checkout.

3.2 After Program Start

  • Within 7 Days of Start: A partial refund of up to 75% of the program fee may be issued if you have completed less than 25% of the program content.
  • After 7 Days: Refunds are generally not available after the first week of an active program, as significant content and resources have been provided.
  • Exceptional Circumstances: We may consider refund requests beyond these timeframes on a case-by-case basis for documented emergencies or extenuating circumstances.

3.3 Group Workshops

Cancellations for group workshops must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may receive a credit toward a future workshop rather than a monetary refund.

4. Consulting Services

Consulting and guidance sessions are scheduled individually and billed per session or as part of a package.

  • Session Cancellation: Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours notice are eligible for rescheduling at no charge or a full refund if rescheduling is not desired.
  • Late Cancellation: Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session cost.
  • No-Show: Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice is non-refundable.
  • Consulting Packages: Unused sessions in a prepaid consulting package may be refunded on a pro-rata basis within 90 days of purchase, minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • Completed Sessions: Sessions that have already been conducted are non-refundable.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Products or content that have been fully downloaded or accessed
  • Services that have been fully rendered or completed
  • Promotional or discounted items marked as "final sale" at the time of purchase
  • Gift purchases after the gift has been redeemed by the recipient
  • Third-party fees or charges not collected directly by Plantbio
  • Customized or personalized educational plans after delivery of the initial plan document

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to admin@plantbio.world with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your full name, email address used for purchase, order or transaction reference number, and date of purchase
  3. Provide a brief explanation of the reason for your refund request
  4. For product-related requests, indicate whether you have accessed or downloaded the content

We aim to acknowledge all refund requests within 2 business days and provide a decision within 5 business days of receiving a complete request.

7. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days
  • Bank or credit card processing times may add an additional 3 to 7 business days before funds appear in your account
  • You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been initiated
  • Partial refunds will be clearly itemized in the confirmation email

If you do not receive your refund within the expected timeframe, please check with your bank or payment provider first, then contact us for assistance.

8. EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have additional rights under EU consumer protection law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts.

For digital content, the right of withdrawal expires once you have given express consent to begin delivery before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. This consent is obtained at checkout for digital products.

EU consumers may also have access to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and in compliance with applicable consumer protection regulations.

9. Disputes and Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks initiated without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in suspension of access to purchased content and services.

We will provide relevant transaction documentation to payment processors when disputing unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks. Valid refund requests processed through our official channels are always preferred over chargeback disputes.
